At the Garden Cottage we love to hear from our guests, so please take a few moments to write in our Guest Book or email us at [email protected].
Since 2004 we have been welcoming guests at the cottage, and below are a few of their thoughts and suggestions to help you make your holiday that little bit more memorable.
Totally delightful! Thank you for all the lovely touches.

A massive thank you to Sian and Nick for allowing us into this wonderful retreat for a few days of bliss. If you arrive with any stress and worries of any kind, this is the place to put it all right back into place. Immediately upon arrival, there is an enveloping warmth from the surrounding garden and countryside along with, of course, the hospitality itself. From freshly baked scones, jam and cream to freshly cut flowers from the garden providing each room with a heavenly scent. Such a welcome, you very rarely find these days. Sometimes it feels hard to leave the cottage during your stay, to go in search of all the wonderful villages, towns and walks, as you have everything you could ever want at the garden cottage, to bring you down from the outside world. The whole experience has a spell over you, containing you in a surrounding bliss of a perfect getaway. The friendly locals will lure you into great conversations like long lost friends. This is a break to remember always. It’s no wonder people keep returning to this five-star treatment for such a reasonable price. For once we can honestly say this is really good value. In every way that you could want, from the warmth, hospitality, and a sense of belonging. This you can tell, really matter to the people who want to share this experience out, without needing to sell their souls to do it. Thank you, it’s so obviously what good people you are.
